Danielle Singer
Director of Bands
Danielle Singer is the Director of Bands at Saint Augustine High School Center of the Arts. Her previous teaching experience includes teaching instrumental and choral music at South Plantation High School, teaching elementary music at Lakeside Elementary & Watkins Elementary, and serving as an intern with the Charles W. Flanagan High School band program. She graduated with a Bachelors in Music Education from Florida State University, receiving the honor of Magna Cum Laude. She has served as both Music Director and Associate Music Director on several musicals at South Plantation High School, J.P. Taravella High School, and the Quincy Music Theatre. She has also played in numerous pit orchestras, collegiate ensembles, and community bands throughout the state of Florida. She is an active member of the Florida Bandmasters Association, Florida Education Association, and an alumna of Sigma Alpha Iota, a professional music fraternity.
Lauren Nock
Guard Instructor
Lauren Nock is an alumna of St. Augustine High School who has returned to lead our color guard and winter guard organizations. Lauren has marched with Carolina Crown and also instructs at Ponte Vedra High School.
Jordan Sawyer
Visual Coordinator/Arranger
Jordan Sawyer is the Director of Bands at Kernan Middle School and also serves as Visual Coordinator for both Saint Augustine High School and Sandalwood High School. Prior to his current position, he served as the Director of Bands at Forest Glen Middle School who received consistent Straight Superior ratings during his tenure. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Sciences from Florida Atlantic University and continues to work with collegiate ensembles such as the University of North Florida. Sawyer has also designed for and instructed various award-winning band programs, such as Coral Glades High School and Coral Springs High School. He is an active member of the Florida Bandmasters Association, National Association for Music Educators, Florida Music Educators Association, and Kappa Kappa Psi, a national honorary fraternity for college band members.
Dejur Kirnon
Percussion Instructor
Dejur Kirnon is a graduate of South Plantation High School in Plantation, FL. He recently received a gold metal at WGI Finals in Dayton, Ohio with the indoor percussion ensemble, Stryke Percussion II. Dejur will continue to perform with the ensemble this upcoming season.
